Independent studio
A civic reference app, a puzzle game, and a woodshop.
Three things that look unrelated until you see how they get made. Software that earns every claim on the box, and pieces cut and finished one at a time on a bench.
What we're building
What’s in the workshop right now. Each one gets its own world.
Where I Stand
From sidewalk to Senate
Tap a spot on the map and the whole stack answers back — town, county, statehouse, Congress. Most of the law you actually meet is written by someone almost nobody can name. This is the app that names them, and it works in a canyon, on a plane, and anywhere coverage is a rumor.

In developmentSudoku: Nine Circles
Nine levels, nine digits, nine to a box
Every level puts an adversary on the board with you — erasing pencil marks, occupying cells, and generally trying to complicate your game. Can you fight your way to the top?

The rest of the practice
Fine woodworking
Cutting boards, coasters, bottle stoppers and small pieces — including a laser-cut map of the fifty states, each one stained so the grain still reads through the color, and each one holding its own quarter. Made to order and finished by hand, one at a time.
DoD Budget Explorer
Thousands of Pentagon budget justification documents, pulled from six official sites, parsed, and made searchable in one place — so an analyst, a congressional staffer, or a reporter can stop opening a dozen government websites to answer one question. It is open source and runs on your own machine; the corpus is far too large to host for you. If you want to see the kind of information system we build, read this one.
