Boilerplate Cards is a solitaire card game. Please read this before you rely on anything it does or shows.

Entertainment only

Boilerplate Cards is a puzzle game made for entertainment. It is published by Boilerplate LLC, a private company. It is not gambling: it has no real-money play and no prizes, and nothing in it can be won, bought or exchanged for value. Its only purchase is an optional tip, which unlocks nothing. It does not offer advice of any kind.

Puzzles and play

• Winnable deals. For each new game, the App looks for a deal that a solver has shown can be won, or uses one from a list of deals checked the same way in advance. In rare cases, such as when that check cannot run, a deal may not have been checked. The App offers Hint, Undo and Restart if you get stuck. Those are conveniences, not a promise that you will finish a given game.
• Statistics. Your play and win counts, and the level worked out from them, are kept on your device for your own interest and can be reset or lost. Points shown during a game are not kept.
• Not affiliated. The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any other solitaire or card game, publisher or brand.

Your progress

Your levels, statistics and saved game live on your device. They can be lost if you delete the App, reset or lose your device, or if a backup or sync fails. Optional iCloud sync and Android’s Google backup are run by Apple and Google, and we cannot promise that they work or that anything will be restored.

Playing comfortably

Take breaks, and stop if you feel eye strain, discomfort or fatigue. The App is not a medical or therapeutic product and makes no health claims.

No liability

The App is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Boilerplate LLC is not responsible for errors, interruptions or loss of progress. To the fullest extent the law allows, neither Boilerplate LLC nor its partners, employees or agents will be liable to you or anyone else for any loss arising from your use of the App, including any consequential, special or similar damages, even if we were told they were possible. The App can change at any time without notice.

Analytics and crash reporting

The App sends usage analytics and crash reports to Google through Firebase, and you can switch each off in Settings. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Advertising

The App shows no ads. Its only purchase is an optional tip in Settings, which unlocks nothing (see the Terms). If that changes, we will update the Terms and the Privacy Policy first.

Reporting a problem

If something in the App looks wrong, tell us through the support page or at support@boiler-plate.com. Say what you were doing and what happened, and include your device and the app version if you can.
